Environment and sustainability

Nowadays respect for  the environment touches the conscience of everyone. It is the duty of those of us in the hospitality industry to demonstrate their awareness of the concerns of the responsible traveller.
Our commitment to the environment and its sustainability is reflected in a number of practical measures:

• we use only recycled paper for correspondence and advertising materials ( brochures and         business cards)
• we collect paper , glass, plastic, aluminium and organic matter separately in order to        facilitate recycling. Our customers are encouraged to do the same using the special containers provided.
• we monitor our use of detergents to minimise their impact.
• there are water saving devices and energy-saving light bulbs in all bedrooms and         communal areas.
• we harness solar energy to produce hot water.
• we use mostly raw ingredients, produced locally, in our meals.

As a member of a network of service providers ( La Toscana da Noi) we are committed to achieving common projects supporting sustainable tourism and our beautiful Tuscan territory.
